Lucy Finegood (Anne Hathaway) is introduced to the Tiger by Anne Hathaway. She is an escaped slave who is in love with wealthy man. The Railway Tiger, like many animated Disney films is a masterful job of combining live action and computer animation to tell a tale that is both moving and thrilling. Although some may argue that computer animation is an expedient method to create the illusion of real, there is nothing like the pleasure that an audience will feel when they see these animations come alive on the big screen. John Williams’ excellent music (Jingle Bells, Hey Jude, etc.) is included throughout the film. In addition, the movie boasts a number of talented actors who include Anne Hathaway, Dan Aykroyd, John Lithgow, Richard Gere, Edward Norton, and Ben Kingsley. Additionally, Meryl Streep also had a small role in this film.

The film is set in New York City during the Depression however, it is filled with numerous themes that are suitable for all ages. This is likely because the majority of the film is about relationships, love and the difficulties people face in being accepted into the society they live in. The main plot revolves around John Tigers, an outcast’s lonely who works in an underground subway station. John is still in search of acceptance and affection from his fellow passengers. His best friend is Sam (Marcus Ardaii-Blomberg), who becomes his adopted son. John meets “The Boss”, an intimidating and efuling businessman, and he discovers that The Boss wants Sam to die.

This plot is most likely to be familiar to anyone who has seen “Railroad Tigers”. Although everyone has different opinions about Sam and The Boss, their misfortunes and The Boss, they all have a deep love for each other and wish to protect The Boss from getting away. The film shows how a family can overcome adversity together and still be loyal to one another regardless of the changes in their lives.
